Arts in Health
SHARE

Are you creative, innovative and interested in history?
We're looking for enthusiastic people to join our Arts in Health Working Group.
Arts in Health ensures that art, culture and heritage (including memorabilia) is integrated into our new health facilities to create a place that is welcoming, promotes well-being and reflects our unique local community.
It helps us explore how we can deliver exciting, welcoming and dynamic spaces for patients, carers, staff and the community.
Beautiful artistic spaces can also help with wayfinding, and ensure indoor and outdoor spaces complement health service delivery.

Do I need to know about art?

No, you don't need to be an expert. You just have to be interested in how art, culture and heritage can make the hospital a better place to be in.

Representatives working as part of the Arts in Health Working Group:

  • Collaborate with the planning team
  • Support the development and implementation of the arts in health strategy
  • Provide recommendations for arts opportunities
  • Identify possible partnerships for projects and commissions
  • Share and discuss strategies with colleagues to ensure we refect the interests and culture of our hospital community.

How do I apply?

Applying is easy and only takes a few minutes. Just download and complete the expression of interest form and email or mail it back to us. Our details are on the form.
