Regionally based, Central West Project Management, has been appointed as the Project Manager with recent health experience including the Mudgee Hospital Redevelopment and Rural Ambulance Infrastructure Reconfiguration (RAIR) Stage 1 program.
DJRD Architects is an architectural practice with a significant health portfolio and has delivered health projects including Griffith Base Hospital Redevelopment, Yass District Hospital Redevelopment and the MPS Southern Program; Barham, Braidwood and Harden.
Slattery Australia, will undertake the cost planning with their health experience spanning the Children’s Medical Research Institute expansion, Westmead, St Vincent’s Private Hospital Redevelopment and the North Shore Health Hub, St Leonards
Building a hospital of this size requires intensive and in-depth planning. The lead design team will now commence the master planning process. This involves creating a hospital campus master plan, which then is used to develop a concept design.
Combining information from the Clinical Services Plan, master plan and concept design will outline the redevelopment’s scope.
The full range of services delivered as part of the Cowra Hospital redevelopment will be identified through the planning phase.
The Project Team is committed to community engagement throughout the planning and design phases of the project.
The timing of the project will be determined through the development of a final business case.
